Away
She was running to the sea
As her daddy boarded a boat for Germany
She yelled, Poppa, poppa, please dont leave
But he was too far to hear her plea
He waved from the boat
Said, Ill be back soon hunny, soon as he choked
You could see the sadness in his eyes
As he started to cry
She had been to that shore
Many times before
But she never felt such pain
Like she did on that day
He was going off to fight for his country
To stop the terror of the Nazis
The boat faded away
On that foggy day
He never made it back
They said he had been shot in the back
She never new why
Her daddy had to die
But she new he would be back one day
And he would never fade away

Looking through the times
Between the bombs and mines
Arms in a race for war
Not a thing we can adore
Killing in front of ones child
Bodys scattered within miles
Guns firing
Soldiers clattering
Explosions tossing
As people are crossing
A shot in the head
A man lays dead
Another soldier gone
Theyre sure to play a song
Moms will cry
As more will die
Its seen before
Were sure to see more
Of this thing called war

Possessed
No one can stop it
For it can top it
Blood will rage
On this unforgiving day
People will see
The bad side of me
Taking to my life
In more time then twice
Anger will fill me
Till it will kill me
End of time will come
For those of some
Blood on the floor
To hear you scream more
Hurry to the light
But I will take the night
Killing time is here
Bring to you fear
Now that it's done
And I have had my fun
Death will come to me
Because I am worthy
Drifting to the dark
I have made my mark
The devil has killed me
By being Possessed by thee
